This Privacy Policy explains how Carter Denbigh, doing business as Vector Hosting ("we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use Vector Hosting at v3ctor.io and related services (the "Service").

1. Who we are

We are a sole proprietorship based in the United States. For personal data processed about people in the EEA/UK, we act as the controller of account and server-related data. Stripe typically acts as an independent controller or processor for payment data as described in Stripe's own policies.

2. Information we collect

• Account — Discord user id, display name, and email (via Discord OAuth), plus session cookies we set to keep you signed in.
• Orders & billing — plan selections, notes you submit, and payment status. Card details are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• Service data — server configuration, join hostnames, console/file activity needed to run hosting, backups metadata, and support messages.
• Technical — IP addresses, device / browser info, and logs from our site, CDN, and game proxy as needed for security and operations.

3. How we use information

• Provide, secure, and improve the Service
• Process orders, subscriptions, invoices, and cancellations
• Communicate about your account, outages, and support
• Detect abuse, fraud, and Acceptable Use violations
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms

4. Sharing

We share data with processors and service providers who help us run the Service, including:

• Stripe (payments)
• Discord (authentication; optional community)
• Vercel (website hosting)
• Infrastructure providers for game servers / panel (e.g. Pterodactyl on our VPS)
• Cloudflare or similar if used for DNS, proxy, or protection

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. If you are in the EEA/UK, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses used by our providers) may apply to transfers.

6. Retention

We keep account and billing records as needed for the Service and legal obligations. After you cancel a server, we typically retain archived data for about 60 days, then delete it. Backups and logs may follow shorter or longer operational windows. You may request earlier deletion where the law allows; some records (e.g. invoices) may need to be retained.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including GDPR and similar laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email froggy.gaming.gg@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity (e.g. via your Discord account).

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA (access, deletion, and knowing categories of data collected). We do not sell personal information. Email us to make a request.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe we have, and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures (HTTPS, signed session cookies, restricted API keys). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy by posting a new version here. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
