Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vector Hosting (v3ctor.io), including managed Minecraft hosting, modpack services, maintenance add-ons, and the customer dashboard (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, placing an order, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service is operated by Carter Denbigh, a sole proprietorship doing business as Vector Hosting ("we," "us," or "Vector"). Notices may be sent to 25 N Liberty St, Harrisonburg, VA 22802 or froggy.gaming.gg@gmail.com.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Purchases require a valid payment method; the cardholder must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live). If you use the Service on behalf of a minor's gameplay, you remain responsible for compliance with these Terms.

2. Accounts

You sign in with Discord OAuth. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Discord account secure. Provide accurate contact information and update it when it changes.

3. Services we provide

• Hosting — managed Minecraft game servers with a Vector dashboard and a join address on *.play.v3ctor.io.
• Modpack creation — one-time curated modpack builds as described at purchase.
• Maintenance add-ons — optional monthly server or modpack care (e.g. backup slots, updates) as listed on pricing pages.

Features, resource limits (RAM, disk, player caps), and availability may change. Out-of-stock plans cannot be ordered until restocked.

4. Minecraft and third-party rules

You must comply with Mojang / Microsoft Minecraft EULA and related terms, plus the licenses of any mods, plugins, or content you install. We are not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft. You are solely responsible for content on your server and for obtaining any required rights.

5. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate service for violations without refund where permitted by law.

6. Orders, billing, and renewals

Hosting and maintenance plans renew monthly until canceled. Modpack creation is typically a one-time charge. Prices are shown in USD and may exclude applicable taxes; tax may be calculated at checkout when we are registered to collect it. Payment is processed by Stripe. Recurring charges continue on your renewal date until you cancel.

Failed payments may result in suspension. We may retry charges according to Stripe's retry settings. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for cancel timing, archive retention, and refunds.

7. Cancellation and data retention

You may cancel from the dashboard (or by contacting support). Canceling a billed plan stops the next renewal; access continues until the end of the billing period already paid for, and cancellation can be undone from the dashboard until then. Once that period ends, we archive the server for about 60 days, then permanently delete it. Backups and join addresses are not guaranteed after deletion. Export anything you need before the retention window ends. Restoring an archived server (while still within the retention window) requires starting a new subscription for that server.

8. Intellectual property

Vector branding, the dashboard UI, and our documentation remain ours. Your worlds, configurations, and content you upload remain yours, subject to third-party licenses. For custom modpacks we build for you, unless we agree otherwise in writing, you receive a license to use the deliverable on Vector (or as we specify); we may reuse non-confidential techniques and know-how.

9. Uptime and support

We provide the Service on a commercially reasonable, best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or any service-level credits unless we expressly agree in a separate written SLA. Support is offered via the channels listed on the site (email / Discord).

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your server use, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of others' rights (including Minecraft / mod licenses).

13. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Material changes take effect when posted or on a stated later date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that state have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
